Pale Horse is a five piece Americana band from Milwaukee, WI with roots in blues, folk and fragments of southern gospel.
Drawing upon the influences of sultry singer-songwriters such as Jim Croce and Ray Lamontagne, Kevin Presbrey’s latest creation Dust Unto Dust is a marriage of the catchy hook and the rootsy americana track you might hear on a early 1970s record. Collaborating with Seattle based producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Milo Greene, Ra Ra Riot, Rocky Votolato), Presbrey and drummer Danny Pratt ventured off to Bear Creek Studios in the Pacific Northwest with the intention of finding the organic acoustic sound they mutually enjoyed on their favorite vinyls from bands like America, The Eagles & Fleetwood Mac. In this first departure from Painkiller Hotel, the Dust Unto Dust EP was created with good intentions and a heavy heart.
Local singer/songwriter Andrew Singer will be playing your favorites as well as his original music live from 9-1

“Simply Elton” is a tribute to the excitement, energy and magical costuming of the one and only Sir Elton John. Brian Harris brings rocking and rolling, over-the-top piano style to the fore along with his Elton-styled vocals, channeling them into a performance that does justice to the rock & roll legend.

Blue Edge of The Prairie plays original Acoustic Americana. Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kerry Spitzer is best known for his bluesy slide, quick picked swing-rock-bluegrass lines, sweet fingerstyle guitar, and deft banjo licks but he’s not above strumming a mandolin, a bouzouki, or pounding out a gospel fueled R&B piano part either. Janice Chase Frillmann is a classically trained violinist who’s improvisational skills are in demand with blues, jazz and rock bands all around the Chicago/Milwaukee area. Their music sports deep folk, pre-war blues, old school soul, and bluegrass roots but can veer into swing, ska, Celtic, or rockabilly territory and back again at the drop of a hat. The songs themselves have the earthy honesty, wry humor, and pathos that reflects a small town Midwest blue collar upbringing combined with big time travels. They’re a great vehicle for Kerry’s gravelly, world worn, but exuberant voice. The songs are performed with conviction, polish, and a zeal that comes from good musicians having a little fun playing with, and off each other. The feeling is downright contagious.
An eclectic duo that can go from gentle acoustic singer/songwriter to classic country and bluegrass, from electric blues and classic rock to jam band and classic jazz standards… almost at the a drop of a hat. – See more at: http://

FAB – Ford Arecco Buencamino was created with the idea of “putting a new spin on standards”. The group is formed of classically trained musicians: Vocalist Janine Arecco, guitarist Jamey Buencamino, and percussionist Brian Ford. Although classically trained, they have managed to break the mold and add their own flare to performing traditional contemporary music in a non-traditional way.
